About the Role:

The Business Agility Institute is a membership organisation to advocate and champion business agility and new forms to business management in companies. The Institute is build upon 4 pillars; community, outreach, guidance and leadership. We need a highly-motivated, jack-of-all-trades, community leader to help us achieve our mission against all 4 pillars. Community: We build global and local communities. Globally, we are growing a member base of passionate folk from different industries and companies. Locally, we support Business Agility Meetups in over 20 cities as well as support functional and industry Alliances (e.g. the Marketing Agility Alliance). Outreach: We run multiple public events around the world each year. We run the global Business Agility Conference in NYC each March, multiple face-to-face events in America and around the world, and monthly online symposiums. Our attendees are mostly senior leaders in their respective organisations. Guidance: As an industry organisation, the Business Agility Institute is creating a Library on Business Agility. This is an authoritative source on the topic covering leadership, organisation structure, market agility, and business agility within industries (e.g. mining or IT) and function (e.g. marketing or finance) Leadership: From industry councils, awards, reports and research - we want to show the world what "good" looks like. Candidates for this position must be comfortable with flexing both their creative and analytical muscles. Job responsibilities below are representative; the actual position will evolve in alignment with the selected candidate’s abilities and interests as the Institute continues to grow. Primary Responsibilities:

Development of community outreach programmes Logistical planning for Business Agility Institute events including the Business Agility Conference in NYC and both online and face-to-face events around the world Support of BAI promotional activities Perform other functions in support of the Business Agility Institute's members and organisational goals Execute marketing plans and campaigns Liaison with community leaders, speakers and facilitators Negotiation with and management of venues and external providers Coordination of community activities including the program committee, facilitation squad and conference organisers Supporting online activities such member mailouts and integrating material (e.g. videos) into the Business Agility Library

What you need:

An understanding of business agility would be helpful An ability to travel globally (USA, Australian, India, Europe, etc) to attend and run Business Agility Institute events Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively influence and relay ideas, resolve issues, and offer solutions within a team environment A high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritize work across multiple projects and events
